Launch the media gallery 1 playerDennis graduated from Sutherland High School in 1961 as class Co-Valedictorian and recipient of a Regents Scholarship. He graduated from the University of Nebraska in 1965 with a Bachelor of Science Degree, with high distinction, in Accounting. He went on to graduate from the University of San Diego Law School in 1974.
Dennis served in the U.S. Army as a Russian linguist in West Berlin, Germany from 1966-1969. His professional career included: Aerospace Industry Accountant, Senior Accountant at San Diego State University, self-employed Attorney, and Tax Coordinator and General Accounting Manager at the University of California, San Diego (UCSD).
Volunteer activities include: Big Brother, Board Member of Friends of the National City Library, Bookstore Coordinator, Treasurer & Committee Chair of the UCSD Retirement Association. Dennis has been a continual supporter of Sutherland Public School through the Scholarship Program, Teammates, and the SPS Foundation.
